Since the steel-cutting of the first ship on May 6, 2019, the construction has been through a lot, especially the interruption of production by the Coronavirus, which makes it difficult to return to work after the festival, low arrival rate of labor force, slow return of shipowner, and the production schedule of the previous stage has been seriously impacted.

All staff of Yangzi Xinfu spare no effort to ensure the milestone by working day and night fighting for sunny and rainy days. To improve the docking integrity, we constantly strengthen the running in with new shipowners, respond to technical problems in a timely manner, part of the labor force seconded , implement the new process of main engine hoisting before alingment as well as erection of the whole bridge etc. Through the close cooperation of relevant departments, overtime work of each workshop and organization of key point raid, the docking integrity reaches the standard. The ship become,the first initial one reaching the sea trial state in 58 days after docking as scheduled in Yangzi Xinfu. Under the difficult situation that it’s the first time for Yangzi Xinfu to use the new type of 8 equipments including main engine and generato, shortage of service engineers influenced by Coronavirus, part equipments improperly matched, and a lot of technical uncertainty, the project team in Yangzi Xinfu led all workshops to coordinate ship owners to work overtime keeping communication channels open. With the close cooperation of relevant departments especially Technical and Purchasing Departments etc, a series of problems were solved, and the commissioning proceeded on in an orderly manner at wharf, smoothly achieved the target to perform a sea-trial on June 25th under delivery status.From June 25 to July 1, 2020, the first 12690TEU Container Ship successfully completed sea trial.

On July 24, the first 12690TEU Container Ship "YM triumph" built by our group for Greek shipowner COSTAMARE was successfully signed and delivered In the witess of Mr. Liang Miao, Chief Engineer of Shipping Leasing Department of Bank of Communications Lleasing Company, Mr. Xu Xin, Senior Manager of Shipping Leasing Department, Mr. Panos christidis, Operation Director of Supervision Company WATERMAKE, Ms. Zhang Lin, Owner’s lawyer, Mr. Zhang Tao, Deputy General Manager of our Group and Mr. Ji Hongfei, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd..
