On October 15th, the second 9150DWT oiled ship"DEMERARA" built by NYZ Shipyard for the French Owner RUBIS was delivered by electric signing, and started itsmaiden voyage.

The 9150DWT oil tanker project has two new shipbuilding projects, all ofwhich were built by NYZ Shipyard. The project was started in March 2021. Theship has a total length of 120 meters, a length of 117 meters between twocolumns, a width of 21.8 meters, a depth of 9 meters, a cargo hold capacity of10500m3 and a load of 9,150 tons. This ship adopts pure electric doublepropulsion device. Compared with the same size ship, it saves fuel, realizes"green environmental protection" and has a good transportation costadvantage. Compared with traditional powered ships, the motor-driven propellergreatly reduces noise, vibration and heat, and brings a more stable, quiet andcomfortable environment to the whole ship.
