On the afternoon of November 10th, the 11800TEU container ship"Zim Canada" set sail from the wharf of YAMIC and put into operation.With the delivery of the ship, it marks the successful completion of six 11800TEU container ships built by Yangzi Xinfu Shipyard for SEASPAN.

On the morning of November 8th, our group and SEASPAN Company jointly held a naming ceremony for the ship. At the ceremony, Ms. Wu Yali named the new ship "ZIM CANADA", and cut the cable and threw champagne forthe new ship. She wished the new ship a long voyage, a prosperous cargo, aworldwide reputation and a safe crew.

On the morning of November 9th, Mr. Su Xiaohua, the projectmanager of SEASPAN, Mr. Zhang Tao, deputy general manager of YZJ Shipbuilding Group,and Mr. Yang Xueyan, assistant general manager of YZJ Shipbuilding Group andgeneral manager of Yangzi Xinfu Shipyard signed the "ZIM CANADA"shipping documents on behalf of all parties.

This batch of six 11800TEU super-large container ships built forSEASPAN were all built by Yangzi Xinfu Shipyard. The ship has a total length of 330m, a width of 48.2m, a depth of 27.2m, a design draft of 13.0m and astructural draft of 16.0m, and is in LR Classification Society. During the design process, the ship's bow line is optimized to ensure the speed and reducethe fuel consumption of the ship. The six new ships are: ONE PARANA, ONE MAGDALENA, ONE ORINOCO, ONE AMAZON, ZIM USA and ZIM CANADA.
